Sorry for the delay folks (to those who actually read these anyways)! I know, I haven’t even posted links to any articles lately. I guess I’ve just been too distracted by other things. Two of my old roleplays have come back from the dead and are once more alive and kicking, and all the writing I’ve been doing lately has pretty much been for them. Still, here’s an article to tide you over till the next real entry. It’s called 5 Scientific Theories That Will Make Your Head Explode. Be warned, some of these may hurt your head. I still remember in physics class when my teacher tried to explain to us that light was both a particle and a wave…and I still don’t get it. How can you be both!? Particles and waves are two totally different things, and one thing can’t be both…can it? Regardless, that particular theory isn’t featured in this article. These ones are even more mind-blowing insane…and even more frightening is that several are probably true. The last one on the list is my favorite, simply because we know it’s true. In case that picture they show you is too small for your liking, here’s a bigger one. Yes, this is an actual shot from the Hubble Telescope. No, none of those specks in the shot are stars. All galaxies, as seen through a miniscule clear patch in our night sky. Frightening, no? Thankfully, I’m immune to these sort of things (years of reading Piers Anthony will do that to you), so I don’t find any of these theories particularly far-fetched or scary. I just find them interesting.
